Matt Armstrong

Armstrong is currently CEO and Co-Founder of Experientia Development Partners, a successful real estate development company that works with tribal gaming entities and select commercial real estate developers to maximize the potential of their invested capital. He founded this company in March 2016. Partners and clients include native American gaming enterprises such as: Seneca Gaming, Oneida Nation, The Mashantucket Pequots (Foxwoods), Mohegan Sun, Gila River, Squaxin Island Tribe, Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians; Commercial Gaming Enterprises such as: Harrah’s, Rush Street Gaming and commercial real estate developers such as Young Woo and RXR. Currently Armstrong is also developing an upscale retail shopping center project in West Haven, CT with Simon Property Group as his partner.  Prior to founding Experientia, Armstrong was President of Gordon Group Holdings a successful mixed-use developer with projects in the United States and Canada. The Gordon Group was led by Sheldon Gordon, one of the most successful retail center developers in the United States. 


Armstrong brought a wealth of hospitality and gaming knowledge to the organization which completed an innovative retail development at Foxwoods Casino Resort in Connecticut. With Tanger Outlets as a partner, he served as project manager up until the project’s grand opening on May 23, 2015. Armstrong led the development team that acquired the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas and served as interim General Manager during the transition.
